Stoke Newington Quakers warmly welcomes everyone to their meetings for Worship.
You may find the following information about St Mary's Hall useful when considering your access requirements.
Access to the building: the main entrance to St Mary's Hall (down the passage to the side) is wheelchair accessible with a permanent ramp leading up to the door.
Ground Floor The ground floor meeting room and toilet facilities are wheelchair accessible. Our weekly Meetings for Worship take place on the Ground Floor.
We do occasionally use the first floor room eg for Business Meetings and Meeting for Learning.
First Floor The first floor meeting room is not wheelchair accessible (there is no lift). Access to this floor is via a flight of 20 stairs with a small landing approximately half way up. There is a bannister on one side, but this does not cover the bottom few steps. A standard sized unisex toilet is located off the small landing.
If you aim to come to a Business Meeting or a Meeting for Learning and have a mobility restriction, it would be most helpful if you could contact us in advance so that we can see if anything can be done about improving access on the day. Ring James 020 8806 6121.
Finally, though the Halls' landlords generally discourage dogs, Guide Dogs are welcomed.
